Def Leppard is a rock band from Sheffield, England, who formed in 1977 as part of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal movement. The band consists of Joe Elliot, Phil Collen, Vivian Campbell , Rick Savage, and Rick Allen. The band has sold over 65 millions albums worldwide and they realesed 11 albums during their carrier, the most popular albums were: Pyromania, Hysteria and Adrenalize.

Finishing repaying my debt to the readers, this issue of “Weekly Music Preview” is special and dedicated to my personal favorite band Megadeth. Megadeth was formed in 1983, when the leader of Megadeth and the former lead guitarist of Metallica - Dave Mustaine, was fired for alcohol and drug abuse. Two months after being fired, he formed his own band (Megadeth) in Los Angeles, thirsting for revenge on Metallica for firing him. Quote: “After getting fired from Metallica, all I remember is that I wanted blood. Theirs. I wanted to be faster and heavier than them” – said Dave Mustaine. In 27 years the band changed 20 official members, with Dave Mustaine being the only one left from the original bands composition.
As pioneers of trash metal in America, Megadeth has been nominated 8 times for the title of “Best Metal Performance”, although did not achieve a single win in this annual “Grammy Awards” ceremony. Despite the “Grammy Awards”, Dave Mustaine managed to be nominated and win the title of the Golden God in the second annual “Revolver Golden God awards 2009″.

1,200 students, staff and faculty at the University of Alberta unofficially smash the Guinness World Record for most players in a single dodgeball game at the Universiade Pavilion better known as “The Butterdome” in Edmonton, Alta. on February 5, 2010. The former record was 450. The event was organized by the U of A students’ union.

John Leslie “Wes” Montgomery was an American jazz guitarist. He was born March 6, 1925, in Indianapolis, Indiana, as part of a musical family including his brothers Monk (string bass, electric bass) and Buddy (vibraphone, piano). He died of a heart attack on June 15, 1968.

Montgomery is best known for his unconventional technique on the guitar, which uses octaves and block chords to great extent in his solos, and by plucking the string with his right thumb in place of a pick. These techniques, the product of his self-taught method which would have likely been discouraged had he taken formal lessons, resulted in a unique voice on the guitar. The bulk of Montgomery’s recording career as a leader can be characterized in three parts. First, from 1959 to 1963, he recorded in mostly small group settings for the Riverside label. From 1964 through 1966 he was signed to Verve Records where he was recorded with big band and orchestral backing. After Verve, Montgomery seemed to abandon jazz and recorded mostly AM radio friendly instrumental pop, a precursor to smooth jazz. These later sessions were released by A&M Records.

It might not be an eye candy, but it really has what alot of other games are missing – depth. Also it doesn’t get boring, how can making your army stronger with every battle and dawn be boring? Also the battle controls are really amazing, the character swings the sword in that direction wich you move the mouse, it’s a really great way to battle, every swing counts. You can win a 5 vs 25 battle if you have the mouse skillz

So I think that you guys should really try this game, it doesn’t cost much, it’s not heavy to downloand and it’ll work on every computer from this and past century whatever bad it might be.

Weekly Music Preview #3 with a sexy risen star – Lady Gaga. Her real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta and she’s from New York. Her first performances were in lower east side of New York City, when he was noticed and signed with Streamline Records. Quickly after, her solo career started booming and she became one of the most appreciated pop culture artists in the world. Despite her highly evaluated singing, Lady Gaga releases her own fashion line, which is also becoming quite popular amongst people.

The idea is that CEOs and Staff of giant corporations might want to have a personalized CV type webpage, it would show that the bussiness is inovative and interested in new technologies, also there could be info about people education, past jobs experience and so on, I think it’s also a great thing if you get fired, use your pimped out CV to get a new job.

Well it’s only in it’s early stages, I’m trying to impress investors and get it going, wish me luck

Since I didn’t write a ”Weekly Music Preview” last week, will do 2 today.
The Offspring is a well known punk band founded in Los Angeles, USA 1984. Since then they have been playing side by side with other Californian bands such as Green Day or Rancid. The album which made The Offspring famous is “Smash” released in 1994, every album released after (including “Smash”) sold over 1 million copies and received multi-platinum awards.
